Kerry Dairy Ireland Plant in Charleville, Co Cork. \ Donal O' Leary

While Kerry Co-op took on a lot with the purchase of Kerry Dairy Ireland business last December, the one thing that didn’t come as part of the deal was the name ‘Kerry’.
My understanding is the co-op is still open to suggestions for a new name, so if you happen to bump into a board member in the coming weeks, be sure to have some ideas ready to present.
My own initial thought was to make an anagram of the Kerry Co-op name to keep a connection with the past, but the best I could come up with was “Pro-Cork, Ye!” which probably wouldn’t fly down in the Kingdom.
