An 83-year-old farmer in Scotland has left a fortune of £13m (€15.3m) to his farm stockman, his cousin and his accountant among others.

The late Rae Grieve was a prominent Aberdeen Angus breeder who also founded property company Lundin Homes. His estate was valued at £13.3m at the time of his death.

It included his farm at Carlhurlie, Lundin Links, Fife, valued at £5m, more than £4.5m in bank accounts and a £2.3m investment portfolio.

His collection of cars included three Bentleys, a Ferrari and a Range Rover with a total value of £418,000.

Grieve named 13 beneficiaries in his will, among whom was his farm stockman Alistair Cormack.

I should have applied for that job back in the day.
