The long-time agricultural correspondent for the Irish Times was hugely popular among the farming community. Sean’s sudden death on Tuesday night saddened all who knew him. Having retired last year, he deserved much more time to pursue his many interests. A wonderful storyteller and singer, a passionate advocate of Irish farming and food, he will be missed. IFA President John Bryan and ICMSA President John Comer led industry-wide tributes. Our sympathies to his wife Patricia and children, Kate Siobhan and Eoghan.
