North-Dublin land has always been lauded for its quality, but it is a rare commodity. So when a parcel of Dublin land comes up, it often has many suiters.

Just over 34 acres in Garristown, on the Meath-Dublin border, is set for public auction on 12 April. It is being offered in three lots, with the third lot being the entire.

Each of the lots are guided for €13,000/ac.

The first lot is in very close proximity to the town of Garristown. It comprises of just under 14 acres of land and is laid out in one field of grass.

It is guided at almost €180,000 or €13,000/ac.

Lot two is 20.5 acres of prime, arable ground. Also in grass, it would be suited to any enterprise.

According to the auctioneer, Frank Flynn of Robert Daly Auctioneers, this lot has circa 400m of road frontage onto Pucky Lane, near the town.

It is guided for €266,500 or €13,000/ac. The entire is guided for €445,000 or €13,000/ac.

The agent told Irish Country Living that the farm was once upon a time in vegetables and while it is in grass now, it would suit a variety of enterprises.

A local family is selling the farm. It will be auctioned in the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne, Co Meath on 12 April at 3pm.
