The Borris Ewe Breeders' annual show and sale on Saturday 8 August offers farmers the opportunity to purchase sheep online for the first time. Online bidding is possible via the MartEye online sales platform. The group is advising any farmers considering of availing of online purchasing to “request to bid” via MartEye well in advance of the sale so that their request can be approved by Leinster Marts. Sale entry

There are approximately 600 ewe Suffolk x Cheviot-cross ewe lambs and 1,200 Suffolk x Cheviot ewe hoggets entered for sale on Saturday 8 August, with ewe lambs going under the hammer at 10.30am and ewe hoggets at 12.30pm.
