As Sarah realises that she may have no choice but to stay in Manchester, a frustrated David makes it clear that neither she nor Bethany can continue to stay in his house. With tensions running high between the pair, David is further thrown when Callum announces that he’s ending mediation and will instead be taking his case to court. How will he react when he realises that Sarah and Callum have been sleeping together behind his back?

Elsewhere, when his attempts to sort things out with Anna fail, Owen decides to leave Weatherfield for good. However, before he leaves, he encourages Faye to come clean about her feelings towards the baby. Will Faye ever get used to the idea of being a mother?

Emma’s manipulation of James continues this week and she eventually gets what she wants when the pair sleep together. Regretting his actions, James tells Moira what happened, who tells him that he needs to tell Chas before Emma does. However, Aaron takes the news worse than Chas and assaults James. When the police arrive looking for Aaron, Chas promises to find out who reported him. Will she be surprised by the answer?

Elsewhere, Lachlan’s father Donny arrives at Home Farm and soon impresses his son by throwing his weight around the village.

Pete finally gives in to his feelings for Jackie this week. However, as the pair kiss, they’re interrupted by Orla. As a worried Pete tries to convince her to stay quiet, Orla remains adamant she won’t lie to Dolores. Meanwhile, Dolores has got some good news from the hospital and announces that she wants to push on with the wedding. Will Pete follow his heart or stay loyal to Dolores?

Máire gets an unexpected text informing her of Sarah’s imminent arrival. In light of the recent distress Sarah’s actions have caused Peadar, Máire is on high alert. What welcome is in store for Sarah? When Áine is brought into hospital after an accident at the bar, Tadhg gets defensive when a doctor smells alcohol on his breath. As Tadhg attempts to stand his ground, Eoin, seeing a poster for social services, finds a new way to bring Tadhg to his knees.
