The annual Killusty Pony Show will take place at Claremore, Killusty on Saturday 6 July. With 102 classes on offer at the show there is something to suit horses, ponies and riders of all ages.

The show will also include a qualifier for the Champion of Champions Young Stock 2019, the final of which will be held at the annual IPS Championship Show in Barnadown on 17 August 2019.

There is €100 prizemoney on offer for the winner of the show hunter not exceeding 158cm, lightweight class and middleweight / heavyweight class.

In addition to this prizemoney there is €200 for the Champion Ridden Horse.

As well as the regular competitive classes, Killusty also host a range of non-competitive classes, including future stars, handy pony, cob classes, performance jumping, equitation jumping, side saddle and working hunter.

Due to the success of the young handlers’ competition last year, this year they have two age categories for the class – seven-12 years old and 13-17 years old.

There will also be the ever-popular dog show and the infamous fancy dress competition.
