A substantial 200ac farm at Ardrass, Co Kildare, was sold privately for a figure in the region of €10,000/ac to an agricultural buyer, Irish Country Living understands. The land is about 1km outside of Straffan, all in permanent pasture and has a good shelter belt for livestock.
The property was brought to auction on 18 June 2018, when 46ac sold. The rest of the property was sold by private treaty this year. The sale was handled by Jordan Auctioneers.
