An 86ac non-residential farm has come on the market in Co Kildare, beside the Punchestown Racecourse.

It will be offered for sale at auction by REA Brophy Farrell on Thursday 24 September.

The land is next to the northern entrance to the racecourse – 4km from Naas and 10km from Blessington. It has 750m of road frontage.

The ground is top quality and in permanent pasture. It is currently used for bloodstock and is in five divisions, stud railed and with beech and thorn hedging. The holding includes a small yard.

The entrance is a recessed gate with a stone-faced wall on to a tarmac roadway. In the yard is a five-bay round-roofed hayshed with wide lean-to, a silage pit and 12 stables. The yard has a large hard surface turning area.

The auction will be at 3pm in Killashee House Hotel, Naas. The 86ac is guided at €1m.
