Hennessy Auctioneers hosted its final monthly online machinery auction of the year on Saturday 17 December.

With 525 lots in total up for grabs, the auction achieved the highest clearance of the year with 95% of the machines booked finding new homes.

Following the usual format, the sale was conducted via the LSL app, with over 1,000 bidders registered for the sale.

This Fiat 110-90 sold at €15,500.

This Hitachi Zaxis 35 mini digger achieved €12,800.

This NC 24ft tri-axle low loader sold at €12,750.

This 2013 Doosan 771 compressor sold at €10,200.

This 2013 JCB Workmax UTV sold at €8,500.

The live auction concluded with an 87% clearance rate which rose a further 8% to 95% once the timed online feature concluded on Monday 19 December.

Highlights from the auction included a 1993 Ford 8340 which sold at €16,500, a Fiat 110-90 which sold at €15,500, a Hitachi Zaxis 35 mini digger which achieved €12,800 and a NC 24ft tri-axle low loader which sold at €12,750.

This 2016 Krone FC320 front mower sold at €7,900.

This Bobcat skid steer sold at €7,800.

This Vector side mounted post driver sold at €6,600.

This Hardi Commander 2,800l sprayer sold at €6,300.

Other lots included a 2013 Doosan 771 compressor which sold at €10,200, a 2013 JCB Workmax UTV which sold at €8,500, 2016 Krone FC320 front mower which sold at €7,900, a Bobcat skid steer which sold at €7,600, a Vector side mounted post driver which sold at €6,600 and a Hardi Commander 2,800l trailed sprayer which sold at €6,300.

All lots sold had no VAT unless stated and were subject to commission. Commission was charged at 5% plus 23% VAT (on commission only) with a maximum chargeable fee of €1,000 plus VAT.

The Portlaoise firm will kick off the 2023 auction campaign with the first auction scheduled to take place on 21 January.
