The Kerry Group has confirmed it has sold the Freshways Ltd. part of its business portfolio following a management buyout. Finglas-based Freshways is one country’s leading manufacturers and distributors of pre-packed sandwiches and food.
In early 2013, Kerry had identified a number of its ‘non-core’ assets which it said it would consider selling off, one of which was the Finglas-based Freshways business. The buyout of Freshways was led by company directors Garrett Fitzgerald and Diarmuid Shanahan.
