A farming family in Co Louth have appealed to the public for help in locating two jeeps stolen from the family home on Thursday morning.

The two Mitsubishi L200 jeeps were stolen from a private family home in Funshog, Collon, Co Louth, on Thursday 11 June at around 2.20am.

The jeeps are owned by a father and son, and one of them contained farming equipment including cattle tags, sockets and calf equipment.

The jeep details are:

  • Black Mitsubishi L200, registration plate 162 MH 1835.
  • Silver Mitsubishi L200, registration plate 162 LH 733.
  • The two jeeps are worth an estimated €45,000.

    The theft is being investigated by officers in Ardee Garda Station, which can be contacted on 041-685 3222.
