To celebrate National Potato Day, over 200 primary school children attended an open day on Sean Ryan’s farm at Ballywilliam, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford. The students were shown how the potatoes are grown, harvested, tested and packaged before sale. At the end of the visit, each child received a bag of potatoes to bring home.
