Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh teams up with My Legacy to appeal to the public to leave a legacy gift to charity in their will.

My Legacy Month takes place throughout November and is an initiative where My Legacy and member charities ask the public to consider leaving a legacy gift in their will to a charity they care about. Legacy gifts are always welcomed by charities no matter the amount and are tax-free. Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh is supporting the initiative this year and will leave a legacy gift in his will to Third Age, a national voluntary organisation who offer support to older people of which he was a board member.
Charities
My Legacy was established in 2006 by a small group of Irish charities and has since grown to a group of 65 Irish charities who work together to encourage legacy gifts in Ireland.

It is considered a simple process and My Legacy encourages everyone to visit a solicitor to do so in making or updating their will.
