Method

1. Make a sugar syrup by dissolving 800g of sugar in a litre of water over heat. Allow to cool and refrigerate until needed (keeps well for several weeks).
2. To make lemonade, mix 750ml water and 250ml sugar syrup with the juice of three lemons.
3. Serve in tall glasses with ice and a straw.
