Aungier for Bulgaden Castle

Kildare man Declan Aungier maintains a busy schedule on the dancing circuit. He will be heading to Spain with Enjoy Travel next month and has a hectic schedule ahead for the summer months. Declan will be on stage for the monthly dance in Bulgaden Castle in Co Limerick next Wednesday night, 26 March.

The first tribute song to Garth Brook was released in recent days. Fermanagh man Anthony McBrien has penned Feels Like He’s Coming Home to celebrate Garth’s return to Ireland this summer. Anthony is widely known in the Ulster region and is hoping for a big reception for the song between now and July.

Lilac Wine tastes fine for Simon

Simon Casey has gone for an Elkie Brooks classic as his new single. Lilac Wine is a song that goes down well at Simon’s shows and he was inspired to give it his own treatment and interpretation. The Ballycumber man is more than pleased with the outcome and the song will be included on his forthcoming album.

One Love from Patricia

Patricia Maguire hails from Newtownstewart and is one of the finalists in the current Glór Tíre series. One Love, a Carlene Carter composition, is the debut single from the young Tyrone singer. Patricia is one of two Tyrone finalists, the other being Angela Reid from Fintona who released her own album about two years ago.

Kenneth Neely's new single

Kenneth Neely is a young country singer from near Dungiven in Co Derry.

The 21-year-old had an early baptism in music when he recorded a single, Up and Coming, at the young age of eight. His current album release is called Ball and Chain.

After leaving secondary school, he got the opportunity to become a professional piano player in the Shaun Loughrey Band. He later played lead guitar in the Stephen Smyth Band. He is now pursuing a solo career.

Kenneth’s current single is Best You'll Do Tonight and he hopes to shoot his first video in the coming weeks.
