Dairygold has announced the appointment of Pat Clancy as vice-chair of the board of directors after an election which took place on 16 October.

Clancy has been a member of the board since 2018, general committee since 2008, and regional committee since 2005. His late father Pat was the last vice-chair of Mitchelstown co-op and also served on the board of Dairygold.

He is also a director of Munster Bovine Group and Ballyporeen Childcare Community Company Limited.

From Ballyporeen, Co Tipperary, Clancy has a degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
