Dale Farm has announced a 1.25p/l increase to its milk price for June. This puts its suppliers on a new base price of 24.3p/l, inclusive of the co-op’s 0.3p/l loyalty bonus payment.

Dale Farm’s decision to increase its June price matches a similar rise by Lakeland Dairies on Friday 10 July. Lakeland is now on a base of 24.25p/l for June.

Glanbia Cheese also announced it is increasing its base price, although the Magheralin processor is adding as much as 1.5p/l for June. This puts its suppliers on a base of 23.75p/l.
