A world record-breaking tractor run that saw more than 700 Massey Fergusons plough the same field will feature on an Irish TV special this week. The event was held at the White Cross Vintage Show in Burt, Co Donegal, on 20 and 21 September.
The record was smashed when 726 Massey Ferguson owners from across Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands descended on the Donegal field, located in Burt, just outside Bridgend.
All 726 tractors that took part in the Guinness World Record attempt were pre-1984 Ferguson tractors and each had an implement attached to work the soil.
