Dunbia opened its ONE360 graduate programme to applications on Tuesday of this week. This is a one-year management training programme followed by a six-month operational project and a permanent job offer.

Candidates will be required to travel and spend up to three months at Dunbia sites in Dungannon, Sawley (located in England), Preston (also located in England) and Llanybydder (located in Wales).

Dunbia says the programme hosts learning and development events for graduates, provides the opportunity to travel, senior mentor support, and has a competitive starting salary, which includes pension contribution.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 31 January at 5pm.

If you are successful in the application screening you will be invited to complete an online aptitude test. The next stage will be an assessment centre where you will participate in a number of group and individual challenges designed to test how well you perform in different situations.

Job offers will be made at the end of April and successful candidates will begin in their roles in September 2017.

Dunbia says the programme is tailored specifically so graduates get responsibility from the start. Saying that, graduates are given time to bond at the beginning of the programme and Dunbia ensure that all graduates are given an insight into all aspects of the company – from the arrival of the animals to the end product being dispatched before they are given responsibility.

Over a two-year period graduates will spend time in six key areas in the business including procurement, operations, commercial, technical, human resources and IT.
