Enniskillen Auctions recently held its first machinery auction of the year.

Although the firm usually holds a monthly machinery auction, it is understood COVID-19 restrictions hampered the company’s plans.

With a reported 77.2% clearance rate achieved, the Ulster firm claims to have had over 200 online and in person bidders.

Interestingly, the auction house currently uses its own bespoke online bidding system. Commission was charged as follows: £0-£500 15%; £501-£2,000 10%; £2,001-£10,000 5%; £10,000+ 2.5%; while VAT was charged at 20%.
