Irish farms come alive in the summer. From the smell of the first cut of silage, the sound of contractors busy at work and the sight of animals happy in the fields, it really is the best time of year.
This is the fourth year of our summer photo competition, which has captured everything from swimming pools made from hay to stunning scenes of farming life. Take a look at past entries in the gallery.
The theme of this year’s competition is "farming fun in the sun". To enter, tweet or Instagram your photo using the hashtag #IrishSummerFarm.
