The Irish Cancer Society is set to benefit from €80,000 that has been raised by Argos customers and colleagues since March 2015. As part of a two-year partnership, the money raised so far will fund 3,000 nursing hours at the Irish Cancer Society’s hospital-based Daffodil Centres for people affected by cancer in Ireland, providing cancer information, support and advice in local communities. Since the launch, staff have been keen to get on board with cake sales and raffles as well as participating in the society’s own campaigns like Colour Dash and Paint it Pink.
