If you think you’re the next Steven Spielberg or Quentin Tarantino, you may be interested in submitting some of your work to the Sky Road TV & Film Festival 2015, which takes place at the Station House Theatre in Clifden from 9-11 October. There are three categories: film (best feature film and best short film); television (best feature documentary, best short documentary and best documentary series); and new media (one-minute and three-minute shorts – shot and edited on mobile). Submissions for all these categories will close on 28 August. Early bird entry is €10 plus booking fee. See www.skyroadfilmfestival.ie/submit. The festival is also looking for volunteers with an interest in film who are eager to help out and learn from the experience.
