Just before Christmas, 12,000 copies of the book had already been sold. The 256-page full-colour hardback celebrates a year in the life of a nation and its people, both at home and abroad. It includes reflections from influential individuals such as the late Seamus Heaney, Colum McCann, Brian O’Driscoll, Marian Finucane and many more. Proceeds raised will be invested in projects to improve the physical infrastructure of hospitals. This book is available in all good bookshops nationwide as well as from the IHF website at www.hospicefoundation.ie. RRP €20.
