Johnny Ward from Love/Hate (he plays Paulie) is taking on the role of Peter Pan. No stranger to stomping the boards at the Gaiety, Johnny previously played Buttons in Cinderella two years ago.
The Dublin actor said: “I can’t wait to play the lead in Peter Pan this year. Having performed in the panto two years ago, I know first hand how much hard work, as well as fun, it is going to be.”
Director and choreographer Daryn Crosbie added: “Johnny is the perfect fit for Peter Pan. Not only is he an excellent actor, his singing and dancing skills will surprise you. He brings the devil-may-care attitude to the role, mixed with the boyish charm that you expect from the character of Peter Pan.”
