Here is a young man with an amazing respect for the true legends of the genre. It comes as no surprise at all to find that Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams are among his heroes.

Jordan loves the old western movies and John Wayne is his favourite actor.
“My favourite movie of all is The Quiet Man with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara. It was the first one I ever watched from start to finish. I love it,” says Jordan.
The young Antrim man released his debut album, Alone With You, to much acclaim at the end of 2015. His earlier version of I’ll Leave This World Loving You, was the song that caught the attention of many.
Jordan is busy on the concert circuit up north. He has also performed at shows in the UK and special highlights were his performances at two concerts in Sri Lanka. He was the recipient of the best newcomer award at the Journal concert in Athlone last March.
“It is a real honour to be included in the list of nominees. I think everyone who receives a nomination in any category will look on it that way. It should be a great night at the awards ceremony in Dublin,” says Jordan.
