27 April: Not for the faint hearted, British TV director Michael Pearce puts an eerily windswept island location to fine use in filming this psychological drama-thriller. The film follows Moll, a troubled young woman who falls in love with a mysterious outsider called Pascal, who helps her escape her oppressive family. When Pascal comes under question by locals for a series of murders, Moll will defend him at all costs to try to protect her newfound love. The local policeman is infatuated with Moll, making her feel Pascal is being targeted.

Rosenstock became a household name in Ireland with the launch of his television programme The Mario Rosenstock Show. Well known for impersonating public figures such as Miriam O’Callaghan, Dáithí Ó Sé, Daniel O’Donnell and Francis Brennan, to name a few, Rosenstock has cemented himself as one of Ireland’s funniest comedians. 26 April: Funny man Marc Maron plays in Vicar Street for one night only. The US-based comedian known for his writing, performing and podcasting has been crafting comic gems for print, stage, radio and web for over 20 years. Maron brings his tour, entitled A Few Parts of the World Tour, to this Dublin venue. He is regarded as a comic powerhouse with over 375 million lifetime downloads. Take Off Your Cornflakes

27 April: Filled with humour, music and love, this theatre production is written and starred in by Rose Henderson and Pat Nolan. The adaptation follows an emotional rollercoaster, dealing with the theme of a middle-aged couple’s response to Alzheimer’s disease. This is a story of a couple flawed, overwhelmed and in love, in sickness and in health, following the experiences of Trish and Tommy, good people in a bad place, as Alzheimer’s takes hold.
