Dacia is not only Ireland’s fastest growing car brand, it has won over more than three million customers in the space of barely 10 years. The 3,000,000th Dacia to be sold was a Sandero Stepway purchased by a motorist in Spain.
Since the launch of Dacia in Ireland less than two years ago, almost 4,000 new Dacias have been sold. The Renault owned Romanian brand claims that its success is also due to a clear, straightforward pledge that fits perfectly with the expectations of motorists looking for a safe, reliable vehicle with a modern equipment and performance package at an affordable price.
Patrick Magee, Country Operations Manager, Dacia Ireland (Renault Group), “We are very proud of how successful the Dacia brand has become since its launch here 21 months ago. It does what it says on the tin, which is no nonsense motoring and gives the customer what they need, for an affordable price, and this is testament to the nearly 4,000 customers we have on our roads today. Dacia customers include Irish families of all sizes, taxi drivers, small business owners and city dwellers who made a clever and smart choice to buy Dacia. I would like to say thank you to all of the Dacia Ireland customers for getting us to this magnificent milestone”.
