Mazda revealed the new Mazda2 which like all cars in the Mazda range, will be produced in Japan. The new entry level car is the fourth member of Mazda's current model generation and features the full range of efficient Skyactiv Technology underneath a new body design. The car will be launched in Japan this autumn and expected here in 2015.
The new Mazda2 will be available with a brand new small displacement clean diesel engine, the Skyactiv-D 1.5 litre, as well as different power versions of the petrol Skyactiv-G 1.5 litre engine. The car has a new structure and will be fitted with the Mazda MZD Connect in-car connectivity system, a new version of the Mazda i-Activsense active safety technology system along with a new spacious and refined interior.
