The Strautmann universal spreaders have been developed for use by contractors or larger farmers. These machines, which can be used for a wide range of applications and for any dispersible materials, are particularly interesting due to their excellent reliability and their low wear. Machine features

  • Loading capacity of 15.5-21m³, with power required from 90hp to 190hp.

    • Nicholas Dunne from IAM explained that Strautmann universal spreaders are exactly the right option if you consider manure to be a valuable fertiliser and you want to spread it accurately with an exact spreading pattern. The Strautmann universal spreaders can deal with earth, lime and compost with high accuracy, according to the manufacturer. Nicholas says the machine is designed for a long, trouble-free life. The spreader will be in action on the demo plots.

    Strautmann will also have their wagons on show working in conjunction with the Kverneland demo plot, where they can be seen in action. The Strautmann has its unique CFS rotor that accurately disperses the crop flow over the entire rotor and knives. According to Nicholas, this wagon is one of the market leaders in Ireland.

    Transport floor/drive protection

  • 14mm strong round steel chains with a breaking load of 25t each.
  • Driven by large-sized gearbox with hydraulic motor.
  • Separate protection of spreading unit and each individual disc by means of cam-type cut-out clutch.
  • Gearboxes are protected against damage.
  • Separate cam-type cut-out clutches enable distribution of power and offer more reliability.
  • Speed monitoring of spreading unit components ensures automatic transport floor stop if the speed falls below the minimum value.
