Commercial exhibitors will be demonstrating a range of new sheep equipment at the event. Dolan Farm Supplies, located in Brideswell, Co Roscommon, have two new pieces of sheep equipment on the market. The first is an automatic sheep dosing gun designed with a slimmer nozzle for drenching lambs and delivering a smaller volume accurately. The second is a Jakoti hand shears, which Liam says is designed from high-quality steel with a self-sharpening mechanism that ensures a clean cut for hand trimming and dagging sheep. Liam adds that the handle is also designed for more comfortable use while the tips of the shears are slightly rounded as a safety feature.
The dosing gun and hand shears cost €37 each, while the leather protection cover costs €12.
