Michael Dillon was remembered last week at the Guild of Agricultural Journalists of Ireland’s memorial lecture named after the man himself.
Giving the keynote address was former ambassador of Ireland to the US, UK, Malaysia and Germany, Daniel Mulhall.
“You could not miss Michael Dillon, he was a nightly feature on our screens, he presented Mart and Market. And I have to say, on account of his Telly Savalas look, he was affectionately known in our house as Cowjak.” The Dealer couldn’t have put it better himself.
