Future leaders of the beef industry ready themselves for beef programme
Future leaders of the Irish beef industry gathered at the Macra na Feirme tent for the launch of the second edition of the Young Beef Farmer Sustainability Programme at Ploughing 2018.
The four-month-long Young Beef Farmer Sustainability Programme, launched at Ploughing 2018, has been dubbed the Operation Transformation for young farmers .
It is organised by Macra Agricultural Skillnet in partnership with Dawn Meats. Those participating will gain valuable insights into efficiency, sustainability and value added for their own farms and an understanding of the beef industry from farm to fork.
The Young Beef Farmer Sustainability Programme is designed to instill the confidence in our young beef farmers to undertake on-farm projects that add value to their beef farming enterprise.
