The owner of the stolen items was alerted to the theft after he returned to his farmyard at 6.30pm on Thursday last.
Anyone with any information should contact Birr Garda station on 057-916 9710.
Laois-Offaly crime prevention officer Graham Kavanagh is encouraging all members of the public to put a unique mark on their property, so that it can be identified should it be stolen and subsequently recovered.
He also encouraged farmers to sign up to IFA’s TheftStop, which he said will greatly reduce thefts if farmers use the initiative.
