A calf care event planned for Co Kilkenny on Monday has been cancelled due to storm Brendan.
The Glanbia, Teagasc and Animal Health Ireland event was due to be held on the farm of Brendan Joyce, The Glen, The Islands, Urlingford.
Storm Brendan is the subject of a nationwide orange weather alert, with winds of up to 130km/h expected in many counties.
The next event in the calf care series is scheduled for Tuesday 14 January on the farm of Martin and Kevin Kennelly, Kilbaha, Moyvane, Listowel, Co Kerry.
