The annual consignment of in-calf heifers from Brendan Bailey saw a 100% clearance of 60 animals at Ballymena Mart on Friday evening.
All animals sold were Limousin breeding, settled in-calf to Limousin bulls, and due from 1 November onwards.
In a super trade from start to finish, prices reached a peak of £2,450, up from a sale topping £2,060 last year for a Limousin cow with calf at foot.
Multiple lots went for £2,100 to £2,400, with close on half the animals clearing £2,000. At the same sale last year in-calf heifers generally sold from £1,100 to a top of £1,600.
Swatragh Mart also held a special sale of 58 maiden heifers on Friday evening.
Prices peaked at £1,680, with £1,600 paid on three occasions. A big run of animals made from £1,100 to £1,480.
