Tom Moloney was a man who diversified the acres available to him at Warrington, Kilkenny so much so that they became both his and his family’s way of life.
Top Flight Equestrian Centre at Warrington is a local and national facility that has well served, and continues to serve, the needs of his and Ann’s children.
Tom and his good friend, also sadly missed, Tommy Brennan joined Macra na Feirma together and became experts in judging animals. Tom bought a good mare and from her bred the foundation of his lifelong performance horse breeding programme. Among them was one called Rainbow that first won the RDS Hunter Championship before jumping internationally.

The stallion Top Flight is another of his, as was Carroll’s Flight, who went from Tom to the great Eddie Macken.
But Tom and Ann’s true joy in life has been the success their children, which include European medals, Nations Cup wins and top American performances which so many times brought that broad Kilkenny smile to Tom’s face. To Ann and the whole Moloney family we share your loss.
