We’ve all been there, promising ourselves that this is the year that we are going to look and feel fit and fabulous, until we realise we don’t even know where to start. This summer, however, Irish Country Living is teaming up with Hannah Nolan of Why Weight Ireland for an easy-to-follow six-week exercise plan and we are looking for readers to take part.

Hannah, a mother of two who lives in Co Wicklow, set up Why Weight Ireland after losing almost eight stone. Now she dedicates herself to helping women and men nationwide to achieve their health and fitness goals with her down-to-earth style.

The plan that she designed for Irish Country Living includes simple toning exercises that you can do in the comfort of your own home, as well as a six week couch to 5k running or walking programme to get those endorphins pumping.

Anybody can follow the plan, but we would love to reach out to readers who would be willing to share their journey.

In return, they will receive mentoring from Hannah as well as a head-to-toe makeover at the end of the programme.

We want to hear from people who struggle with the challenges we all face when it comes to exercise.

Have you found it difficult to exercise after having a baby, do you work late shifts, have you fallen into a rut or do you simply find it difficult to make time for yourself? If so, this could be exactly what you have been waiting for.

To apply, simply explain in less than 200 words why you would like to take part in the programme and send with a recent photo to Maria Moynihan, Irish Country Living, Irish Farm Centre, Bluebell, Dublin 12 or email mmoynihan@farmersjournal.ie

Closing date for entries is Thursday 28 May. For further information about Hannah’s story and Why Weight Ireland, visit www.whyweightireland.ie.
