It is a fantastic opportunity to get the younger members of the agricultural community to partake in biodiversity initiatives
Kilkenny Macra chair Niamh Bambrick said: “We are delighted to team up with Paddy Bruton of Forestry Services Ltd to plant over 1,000 native Oak and Birch tree saplings across the county of Kilkenny.
"It is a fantastic opportunity to get the younger members of the agricultural community to partake in biodiversity initiatives and become more aware of the environment around us. We are extremely grateful to Paddy for facilitating the sponsorship of this initiative.”
