Applications for the Stephen Cullinan Scholarship are now open. Funded by the Agricultural Trust and the Irish Farmers Journal, the scholarship enables young farmers to visit New Zealand and work there for six months to gain experience of alternative methods of dairy farming.
The scholarship winners receive a return travel ticket to New Zealand and a work placement on a progressive dairy farm, which will commence toward the end of June.
Successful applicants must be willing to travel to New Zealand at the beginning of July 2019.
