Zetor showcased its new Proxima series at the NEC last week. The range of tractors entered production at the beginning of this year, with the first models set to touch down in Ireland in April.

The range has new features, including a new bonnet angle and roof shape, which offers increased visibility. This latest series comes 15 years after the Proxima was first introduced.

There are three types of model available – the CL, GP and HS. Powered by Zetor’s own four-cyclinder engine, they offer outputs from 76hp to 117hp, with the CL being the entry-level model.

The range comes with a choice of gearbox options. The CL model has a mechanical-type gearbox, available with creeper speeds. The GP model features a two-stage torque multiplier (PowerShift), while the HS model features a three-stage torque multiplier (PowerShift) with a power-shuttle.

Prices for the Proxima range start at €43,000 plus VAT.
