Gardaí in Co Meath are investigating the unauthorised taking of a silver Toyota Land Cruiser from a field on Tuesday.
According to the Meath crime prevention page and confirmed by Gardaí, the jeep was taken at 3pm from a field at Garlow Cross. The owner was harvesting in the field at the time the theft took place. The jeep, with registration 07 MH 15## was driven off in the Navan direction.
Theft spree

Other parts of the country have also been affected with two reported thefts of Land Cruisers in Cork and Tipperary.
In a statement the Gardaí said: “Gardaí in Mullinahone are investigating the unauthorised taking of a vehicle in the Mullinoly area of Tipperary, on 16 August at approximately 2.30pm. Investigations are ongoing.
“Gardaí in Kileagh are investigating the unauthorised taking of a vehicle in the Kilcounty part of Cork on 18 August 2018 at approximately 11.25am. Injured party heard vehicle driving off, no arrests made and investigations are ongoing.”
