Large block of forestry for sale in Kilkenny

A c57ac holding of maturing forestry is for sale in Co Kilkenny. The land is at Killamery, 10km from Callan and 3km from Grangemockler along the N76. Planted to a mix of species, it is being sold by Michael Barry Auctioneer by private treaty. The guide price is €385,000 equal to €6,754/ac.

The land has excellent access from the main N76, Michael Barry said. The forestry consists of 5.54ac of oak, 5.93ac of biodiversity woodland, 11.24ac of ash, 8.52ac of Norweigan Spruce and 26.04ac of Sitka Spruce. One year’s annual premium remains to be claimed on the forestry.
