13 July: Fourteen years after the original Incredibles movie comes the sequel Disney Pixar fans have been waiting for with bated breath. This animated film follows the Parr family, who are all superheroes. They have accepted their calling as defenders of the people, but their special heroism remains illegal. When things seem to be getting worse and worse for the family, Elastagirl is presented with an exciting new job opportunity, while her husband stays home to mind the kids. Excitement, danger and stretchy limbs are afoot.

14 July: Country star Lisa McHugh is taking her talents to the Gleneagle hotel in Killarney, Co Kerry. Originally from Glasgow, McHugh moved to Ireland when she was 22 and has been rising up in the country-music scene ever since. She grew up listening to Daniel O’Donnell and Alan Jackson and began playing guitar soon after. She has since released six albums and embarked on countless tours across the UK and Ireland. 16 July: A night filled with high-energy and anecdotal comedy is promised at this Irish comedian’s show in the Roisín Dubh bar and club in Galway. O’Brien has been performing stand-up for almost a decade and is the resident host and owner of The Comedy Crunch in Dublin, one of the most successful comedy clubs in Ireland. Hollywood's Leading Ladies

13 July: Immerse yourself in the golden era of movie musicals at this wonderful event in The National Concert Hall, Co Dublin. The night will be led by the renowned Broadway and West End star Kim Criswell, who has performed in countless musicals such as Into the Woods and The Sound of Music. The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Timothy Henty, will take the stage by storm. Criswell will perform songs made famous by silver-screen starlets, such as Judy Garland, Barbara Streisand, Doris Day and Julie Andrews. 16 to 21 July: This true tale of a Leitrim farmer is filled with music, dance, poetry and song and is a must-see this summer in the Lime Tree Theatre, Co Limerick. Jimmy Gralton, the focus of this show, is the only Irishman ever deported from his own country for the crime of building a dance hall in good Catholic Ireland. He encouraged the locals to learn, argue, dream, dance and have fun. Go and see what happens when Jimmy returns to Ireland and decides to re-open the hall.
