A 56-acre holding at Newtown near Tullow in Co Carlow will be auctioned on 27 June. Currently in winter wheat, the ground is very good tillage land and is located in the heart of tillage country.

The property comes with a residence that has not been inhabited in recent years but has the potential to be a nice residence if the right investment is made.

That is according to the agent handling the sale, the experienced John Dawson of REA Dawson Tullow. He noted that the location and land quality are the major selling points of this farm.

The sellers are a retiring couple. The farm will be auctioned in Dawson’s office in Tullow on 27 June.
