Limerick-based Bobcat Dealer Adare Machinery will be showing Bobcat’s new TL38.70HF R-Series telehandler, its S530 skid steer and a huge range of its mini diggers at the Ploughing.
On 24in tyres, the TL38.70HF offers a maximum lift capacity of 3.8t, a maximum lifting height of 7m and a maximum forward reach of 3.9m.
Including this model, the new R-Series agri telehandler range from Bobcat comes in seven models, all with Stage V engines covering maximum lifting capacities between 2.6t and 4.3t, with lifting heights from 6m to 8m.
The range comprises three compact models (TL26.60, TL30.60 and TL30.70) and four large models (TL35.70, TL34.65HF, TL38.70HF and TL43.80HF).
As with all new Bobcat telehandlers, the R-Series comes with a three-year warranty (or 3,000 hours) as standard from the factory, extendable to five years and 5,000 hours.
Skid steer
The firm will also display the latest S530 skid steer. It features an operating weight of 2,815kg, a tipping load of 1,823kg and features a rated lifting capacity of 911kg. Power is sourced from Bobcat’s own Stage V 2.4l, four-cylinder engines, with this particular model churning out 55hp. The manufacturer claims the new power plant offers 37% higher torque at lower RPM, fast recovery from overload, less noise and lower fuel consumption compared to previous versions.

The firm will also display the latest S530 skid steer.
The units feature a 64.7l/min pump capacity with standard flow and up to 101.1l/min with the high-flow option. Bobcat skid steers come with a pressurised cab as standard. The unit is 3,378mm long, 1,727mm wide and features a 3,023mm lifting height.
The new models now feature extended service intervals. Bobcat recommends first servicing takes place after 500 hours of operation, which it claims is up to 10 times the industry standard.
The firm will also display half a dozen mini excavators.
