Yorkshire machinery manufacturer, Grange Machinery can now offer the complete drilling solution, with the arrival of its front seed hopper.
The hopper is available in either a 2,000l single format or a 2,200l split (pressurised) unit, for metering two crop types or seed and fertiliser.
Grange has opted to use an RDS metering system.
Other innovations on the stand include its 4m Top Tilth cultivator. The 3-in-1 solution features hydraulic front leading discs and low disturbance legs, available as hydraulic or shear bolt reset.
A range of point options are available.
Behind the legs are two gangs of hydraulically adjustable 450mm diameter discs.
Consolidation is done using either a DD packer type roller, or prismatic roller.
The display machine was also equipped with a double disc coulter bar and Stocks Ag pneumatic seeder.
Grange also showcased its HD front weight toolbox. Unlike traditional boxes, it allows weight to be added or removed quickly without impacting storage space.
The toolbox has an unladen weight of 270kg and is designed to be weighted up to 2,500kg. This is achieved by fitting a 240kg quick-attach base weight, with additional 100-200kg wafer weights added or removed as required.
