JCB previewed a brand-new cab for its compact 530-60 and 526-60 Loadall models at Agritechnica this week, in addition to publicly unveiling two larger Loadall models and the new Fastrac 6000 series.

The new 526-60 model will replace the current 525-60, offering an extra 100kg lift capacity. Elsewhere, updates are purely centred around a new cab which is said to be more in line with the series 3 cab on its larger Agri Loadall models and replacing the current boxy cab.

The new cab features a sleeker design, better sound insulation and curved windscreen, which sees the cross bar positioned further back to improve visibility.

Inside, the new fit and finish shares similarities with the Fastrac 6000 series. The main party piece is a new 7in touchscreen terminal which is set to offer a whole host of new user features. Meanwhile, a larger 10in terminal with increased camera functionality is expected to later follow.

Through the new interface, operators can save individual user profiles where numerous functions such as hydraulic flow, lights, controls can all be tailored to suit individual operators. Auto reversing lights, auxiliary flow control and the ability to invert auxiliary controls when hoses are coupled the wrong way around, are all new functions.

An electric handbrake replaces the old pull-type design and a foot-operated pedal now caters for steering column adjustment.

The 526-60 will be offered in Agri Super and Agri Plus specifications while the larger 530-60 is expected to only be offered in the Agri Super trim. The 530-60 is now tractor homologated and is therefore equipped with dual-line hydraulic brakes.

The updated cab will include a new 7in touchscreen terminal.

The new sleek cab offers better visibility and a new fit and finish.

The 526-60 will replace the current 525-60 and offer 100kg more lift capacity.
