Malone has plans for a large display of machinery at the Ploughing next week.

The Mayo-based manufacturer is set to showcase 19 machines, providing showgoers with a flavour of its entire ‘greenline’ and ‘redline’ ranges.

Its greenline range includes grass equipment, such as mowers, tedders and rakes, whereas its redline includes toppers, post drivers and log splitters.

One of the newest products to the range and set to feature on the stand once again is the Proline 610 twin-rotor centre delivery rake. The Proline 610 has a total working width of 6.1m and a transport width of 2.65m, when folded. The overall height when folded is 3.8m high. Both 2.8m rotors are seated on four-wheel bogey systems. There are 11 tine arms on each rotor, each of which are fitted with four cranked lift tines.

A swath width adjustment feature allows the swath to be adjusted from 1.3m to 1.7m. Standard features include a steering axle, 340/55 R16 tyres and manual rotor height adjustment.

Mowers

Malone will also display a selection of mowers from its Procut Classic and Premium ranges. Models will include everything from the side-mounted Procut 240 (2.4m), 280 (2.8m) and 285 (2.85m) Classic plain mowers right the way up to the 3000MP (3m) heavy-duty plain mower, 3000MC (3m) side-mounted conditioner mower, as well as the 3000FC (3m) front conditioner model from its Premium range. The 3000TC (3m) trailed conditioner mower will again feature on the stand following a renewed interest from the market this year. Within the Tedd-Air range of tedders, the Mayo manufacturer will display its 570 four-rotor (5.7m) model, 840 six-rotor (8.4m) model, and 1120T eight-rotor (11.2m) trailed model.
